Toby the Sheep goes beyond just a simple children's book. We have written Christian themes into every story. Below you'll find Book Series, Author Insights and Free Resources.
Toby the Sheep is centered around character themes. The first series is the "Courage Series." Each book is a stand alone read, but if a parent wants to get the most out of the books then reading them in order is for you. Each series doesn't follow a story line rather character development.
For Example:
- Book 1 of the Courage Series Toby learns to face his fears.
- In Book 2, he has the courage to tag along on an adventure.
- In Book 3, he learns the limits of his courage.
- Finally in Book 4, he is able to motivate his friends to use their courage.
We have plans to write Book Series on Accountability, Kindness, Joy, and Community.
The Author Insight's will give you the deeper spiritual meaning of each book. This will help you with a discussion with your little one or class.
We've provided Free Resources with every book for Parents/Educators who wish to use the stories as a lesson. These include coloring pages, worksheets, and group activities.
